This is our first set of roller skis. I bought them for my girlfriend who's a big X-C skier. Given that she had no instruction or preparation, her first venture out was a little shaky, but she adapted quickly and seems to enjoy them now. They appear to be basic, no frills skis, but they work fine and are easy to use. SkatePro's customer service department was very helpful in explaining what our best options were and what to order. | |

I found these a great way to get started in roller skiing. Nice and stable and smooth rolling. Should have bought some knee pads though . I learnt the hard way, anything with wheels and no brakes can only end one way. Still, got pads now and having a great time. | |
